The TPS8268120SIPT is a high efficiency, fixed output synchronous MicroSip step down DC to DC converter module in 9 pin μSIP package. This regulator includes switching regulator, inductor and input/output capacitors. Integration of all passive components enables a tiny solution size of only 6.7mm2. The TPS8268120 is optimized for battery powered portable applications in which high load currents in very small solution size and height are required. It is also optimized for high efficiency and low output voltage ripple. This regulator supports applications powered by Li-ion batteries as well as 5V and 3.3V rails. It provides lower noise regulated output as well as low noise at input for noise sensitive applications. The device supports fixed output voltage, requiring no external feedback network. The high PSRR and AC load regulation performance make this device suitable to replace linear regulator to obtain better power conversion efficiency with same size.
