The TPS78601DRBR is a single channel low dropout (LDO) linear regulator with adjustable output in 8 pin VSON package. This low power linear voltage regulator has high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultra low noise, fast start-up, excellent line and load transient responses. The device is stable with small 1μF ceramic capacitor on the output. It uses an advanced, proprietary BiCMOS fabrication process to yield extremely low dropout voltages. The TPS78601 achieves fast start-up times while consuming very low quiescent current (typically 265μA). The supply current is reduced to less than 1μA when device is placed in standby mode. Applications with analogue components that are noise sensitive such as portable RF electronics will benefit from high PSRR, low noise and the fast response time.
