The SN65HVD251D is an industrial CAN (Controller Area Network) bus transceiver in 8 pin SOIC package. It is intended for use in applications employing CAN serial communication physical layer in accordance with the ISO 11898 standard. The SN65HVD251D provides differential transmit capability to bus and differential receive capability to CAN controller at speeds up to 1Mbps. The SN65HVD251D features cross wire, overvoltage and loss of ground protection to ±36V, overtemperature protection, -7V to 12V common mode range and tolerance to transients of ±200V. The transceiver interfaces single ended CAN controller with the differential CAN bus.
