The MAX3227EIDBG4 is a 3 to 5.5V single-channel RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver operates with 3 to 5.5V VCC supply. This RS-232 line driver/receiver accepts 5V logic input with 3.3V supply and it has Auto-Power down Plus feature which automatically disables drivers for power savings.
