The LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB is a Low-noise Linear Regulator delivers up to 150mA output current and only requires 300mV dropout voltage of input to output. Using an optimized VIP (vertically integrated PNP) process, the LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB delivers unequaled performance for all battery-powered designs. The LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB device provides 1% tolerance precision output voltage with only 75μA quiescent current at 1mA load and 850μA at 150mA load. By adding a 10nF bypass capacitor, the output noise can be reduced to 30μVRMS in a 30kHz bandwidth. The LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB is designed to work with a ceramic output capacitor with equivalent series resistance (ESR) as low as 5mR. The devices are available with fixed output voltage from 2.5V to 6.1V.
