The LM27403EVM is an evaluation module for the evaluation of LM27403 DC to DC regulator. The LM27403 is a feature rich, easy to use, synchronous buck controller offering exceptional levels of integration and performance for superior efficiency in high power density, point of load (POL) DC to DC regulator solutions. The LM27403 has a conventional voltage mode control loop with high gain bandwidth error amplifier and PWM input voltage feedforward. The LM27403EVM is designed to use a regulated or non regulated input bus (3V to 20V) to produce a tightly regulated output of 1.2V at up to 25A of load current. The evaluation module is designed to operate from a single supply rail, no additional bias voltage is required. The evaluation module output voltage has better than 1% setpoint accuracy and is adjustable between 0.6V and 5.5V simply by changing the lower feedback resistance. Nominal input voltage is 12V but can vary from 3V to 20V with suitable adjustment of the programmable UVLO.
