The DRV5023FAEDBZRQ1 from Texas Instruments is an automotive digital switch hall effect sensor in 3 pin SOT-23 package. This is a chopper stabilized hall effect sensor that offers a magnetic sensing solution with superior sensitivity stability over temperature and integrated protection features. Internal protection functions are provided for reverse supply conditions (up to 22V), load dump and output short circuit or over current. Supports up to 40V load dump, output short circuit protection, output current limitation and OUT short to battery protection. It is used in docking detection, door open and close detection, proximity sensing, valve positioning and pulse counting.
