The DRV411EVM is an evaluation platform for the DRV411, a sensor signal conditioning integrated circuit for closed loop magnetic current sensors. The DRV411 is designed to condition InSb hall elements for use in closed loop current sensor modules. It provides precision excitation circuitry for the hall element effectively eliminating the offset and offset drift of the hall element. The DRV411EVM allows evaluation of all aspects of the DRV411 device when connected to a user supplied hall sensor and coil. The evaluation board is a single printed circuit board with a variety of test points (to monitor supply, reference, and output voltages) and jumpers to enable or disable various features of the DRV411 device. The evaluation module (without a hall sensor installed) draws less than 10mA at 5.5V. Power can be applied to the module via the banana jacks labelled VCC and GND or through clip leads directly to the VCC and GND test points.
