The BQ500511ARHAT is a low cost 5V wireless power transmitter controller for WPC v1.2 A11 transmitters in 40 pin VQFN package. This controller when combined with bq50002A analogue front end (AFE) device, integrates all functions required to create a Qi-compliant or proprietary 5V transmitter. The bq500511A and bq50002A together provides a compact wireless charger solution. IC pings surrounding environment for the receiver devices to be powered, safely engages device, receives packet communication from powered device and manages power transfer according to wireless power consortium (WPC) v1.2 specification. Dynamic Power Limiting (DPL) is featured on IC to maximize flexibility in wireless power control applications. The DPL enhances user experience by seamlessly optimizing the usage of power available from limited input supplies. It is used in proprietary wireless chargers, car and other vehicle accessories WPC compliant wireless chargers for smart phones and wearable applications.
