The ADC-WB-BB/NOPB is a ADC wide band balun board uses the TC1-1-13MA+ RF Transformer from Mini-Circuits which is designed for low cost wide band functionality application. This balun board is mainly used to convert signals from single ended to differential. Since the input impedance of GSPS ADC's are 100R, the impedance of most signal generators are 50R and impedance ratio of this balun is 1:1. The extra 100R across the output R1 and R3 is present for impedance matching. However, this does incur an additional 3dB insertion loss.
