The PIC18F4523-I/P is an Enhanced Flash Microcontroller with 12-bit A/D and nanoWatt technology. The PIC18F4523 family introduces design enhancements that make this microcontroller a logical choice for many high-performance and power-sensitive applications. The A/D converter has a unique feature of being able to operate while the device is in sleep mode. To operate in sleep, the A/D conversion clock must be derived from the A/D's internal RC oscillator.
