The PIC18F25K40-I/SP is a large memory, highly integrated 8bit general purpose flash microcontroller in 28 pin DIP package. This microcontroller with C compiler optimized RISC architecture combines large flash/EE/RAM memory, rich peripheral integration, eXtreme low power (XLP) and 5V support to suit a variety of general purpose applications. The device delivers core independent peripherals such as complementary waveform generator (CWG), window watchdog timer (WWDT), CRC/memory scan, hardware capacitive voltage divider (CVD), zero cross detect, signal measurement timer (SMT), hardware limit timer (HLT) and peripheral pin select for providing increased design flexibility and lower system cost. It features low current power-on reset (POR), configurable power-up timer (PWRTE), brown-out reset (BOR) with fast recovery and low power BOR (LPBOR) option and programming/debug features such as in-circuit debug integrated on-chip and in-circuit serial programming (ICSP) via two pins.
