The 24LC512-I/SM is a 512Kbit (64K x 8bit) serial I2C EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Memory) in 8 pin SOIJ package. This EEPROM device is capable of operation across a broad voltage range. It has been developed for advanced low power applications such as personal communications and data acquisition. This device has a page write capability of up to 128bytes of data. The 24LC512 is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 512K boundary. Functional address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus for up to 4Mbit address space. It features more than 1 million erase/write cycles and data retention is greater than 200 years.
