The SMTC-1161 is a 4.8 x 16.51mm 45° knife Soldering Iron Tip for use with the MX series soldering and rework with MX-H1-AV and MX-RM3E handpieces for conduction rework of surface mount components. The knife cartridge is ideal for multi-lead soldering and particularly suited to soldering of J-leaded components such as PLCCs and DRAMS. Fixed temperature cartridges and tips offer users a fully safe and thermally effective solution to their lead free soldering needs as well as complete process control.
