The MX7572JN05+ is a complete high speed CMOS, 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 24 pin DIP package. It combines high speed, low power consumption and an on-chip voltage reference. The buried zener reference provides low drift and low noise performance. External component requirements are limited to only decoupling capacitors for power supply and reference voltages. On-chip clock circuitry is also included which can either be driven from an external source or in standalone applications can be used with crystal. The MX7572 uses a standard microprocessor interface architecture. Three states data outputs are controlled by read (active-low RD) and chip select (active-low CS) inputs. Data access and bus release time of 90ns and 75ns respectively ensure compatibility with most popular microprocessors without resorting to wait states. It is used in digital signal processing (DSP), high speed data acquisition and electro mechanical systems.
