The MAX972ESA+ is an ultra low power, open drain, dual low voltage comparator in 8 pin NSOIC package. This single/dual supply micropower device draw less than 4μA supply current over temperature. The MAX972 is ideal for 3V or 5V single supply applications. The input voltage ranges from negative supply rail to within 1.3V of positive supply. The open drain outputs permit wire ORed configurations. This device is ideal for level translators and bipolar to single ended converters due to 11V output range. The MAX972 is used in battery powered systems, threshold detectors, window comparators and oscillator circuits.
