The MAX8570EUT+T is a high efficiency LCD boost with True Shutdown mode in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This LCD step-up converter uses an internal N-channel switch and an internal P-channel output isolation switch. A unique control scheme provides highest efficiency over a wide range of load conditions. The internal MOSFET switch reduces external component count and high switching frequency allows for tiny surface mount components. The MAX8570 uses 110mA current limit to reduce ripple and component size in low current applications. The built-in safety features protect the internal switch and downstream components from fault conditions. It also includes low quiescent current and True Shutdown mode to save power. The MAX8570 allows user to set the output voltage between 3V and 28V. This step-up converter is ideal for small LCD panels with low current requirements but can also be used in other applications such as LCD bias generators and polymer LEDs (OLED).
