The MAX814NESA+ is a high accuracy microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit provides power-on reset and power-fail functions. It eliminates manual trimming and improve reliability in critical applications needing high accuracy reset thresholds. The RESET(complementary) output is to be in correct state for VCC down to 1V. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. Typical application includes controllers, intelligent instruments, critical microprocessor (μP) power monitoring and set top boxes.
Supply voltage range is 1.2V to 5.5V
Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
±1% worst case reset threshold accuracy
Reset trip threshold voltage is 4.55V (typical)
200ms reset time delay
Maximum supply current is 85μA
Active low RESET(complementary) output, active high RESET output and manual reset input functions
Power supply glitch immunity
