The MAX6845UKD3+T is an ultra low voltage microprocessor (μP) reset circuit and voltage detector in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This supervisory circuit monitors ultra low voltage power supplies in μP and digital systems. It provides excellent circuit reliability at low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with 0.9V to 1.5V systems. The MAX6845 provides a RESET IN input which allows user to externally adjust reset threshold. Reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. It asserts a reset signal whenever VCC supply voltage declines below preset or adjustable threshold or whenever manual reset (active-low MR) is asserted. Reset remains asserted for fixed timeout delay after VCC has risen above reset threshold and when manual reset is deasserted. The MAX6845 is used in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical μP and μC power monitoring, telecom/networking equipment, base stations and servers/workstations.
