The MAX6626RMTT+T is a 12bit temperature sensors with I2C compatible serial interface in 6 pin TDFN package. The device combines a temperature sensor, programmable overtemperature alarm and an I2C compatible serial interface into single compact package. It converts die temperatures into digital values using internal ADCs. The result of conversion is held in a temperature register and can be readable at any time through serial interface. A dedicated alarm output (OT) activates if conversion result exceeds the value programmed in high temperature register. A programmable fault queue sets number of faults that must occur before alarm activates which prevents spurious alarms in noisy environments. The device has shutdown mode that saves power by turning off everything except power-on reset and I2C compatible interface. The MAX6626 has 12bit internal ADC. It is used in fan control, temperature alarms & system temperature control.
