The MAX532BEPE+ is a dual, serial input, voltage output, 12bit multiplying digital to analogue converter (MDAC) in 16 pin DIP package. This MDAC comes with output amplifiers, no external user trims required to achieve full specified performance. The 3 wire serial interface of device minimizes the number of package pins, so it uses less board space than parallel-interface parts. Serial interface minimizes digital noise feedthrough from its logic pins to its analogue outputs and also simplifies opto-coupler isolated or transformer isolated applications.
