The MAX5184ETG+ is a 10bit, 40MHz voltage output digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 24 pin TQFN package. This voltage output DAC with on-chip precision resistor is designed for superior performance in signal reconstruction or arbitrary waveform generation applications requiring analogue signal reconstruction with low distortion and low power operation. The MAX5184 is designed for 10pVs glitch operation to minimize unwanted spurious signal components at output. An on-board 1.2V bandgap circuit provides well regulated, low noise reference that can be disabled for external reference operation. The device is designed to provide high level of signal integrity for least amount of power dissipation. It operates from single 2.7V to 3.3V supply. This DAC has three modes of operation such as normal, low power standby and full shutdown which provides lowest possible power dissipation with 1μA maximum shutdown current. It is used in direct digital synthesis applications.
