The MAX515CSA+ is a low power, voltage output, serial 10bit digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 8 pin NSOIC package. It is specified for single +5V power supply operation. The MAX515 draws only 140μA of supply current. It is trimmed for offset voltage, gain and linearity. Hence, no further adjustment is necessary. The buffer of MAX515 is fixed at gain of 2. It is typically used in battery powered test instruments, digital offset and gain adjustment machine and motion control devices.
