The MAX5102AEUE+ is a +2.7V to +5.5V, low power, dual, parallel 8bit digital to analogue (DAC) with rail to rail voltage outputs in 16 pin TSSOP package. It uses a matrix decoding architecture for DAC. The external reference voltage is divided down by a resistor string placed in a matrix fashion. The resistor network converts the 8bit digital input into an equivalent analogue output voltage in proportion to the applied reference voltage input. The resistor string presents code independent input impedance to the reference and a monotonic output. Internal precision buffers swing rail to rail and the reference input range includes both ground and the positive rail. It features a shutdown mode that reduces current to 1nA, power-on reset mode that resets all registers to code 00 hex on power-up. It is used in digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable attenuators and power-amp bias control.
Supply voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V
