The MAX4247AUB+ is an ultra small, low power, dual rail to rail I/O operational amplifier (op-amp) with disable function in 10 pin μMAX package. It is designed for low voltage and single supply operation. The input stage consists of composite NPN and PNP differential stages which operate together to provide a common mode range extending to both supply rails. This low cost op-amp draws only 320μA of quiescent current and operates from single 2.5V to 5.5V supply (or dual ±1.25V to ±2.75V supplies). It offers a low power shutdown mode which reduces supply current to 50nA and puts amplifier outputs in a high impedance state. The MAX4247 is unity gain stable with 1MHz gain bandwidth product and driving capacitive loads up to 470pF. The wide operating temperature range makes this device suitable for use in variety of harsh environments. It is used in single supply zero crossing detectors, instruments and terminals, electronic ignition modules, infrared receivers and sensor signal detection.
