The MAX4241ESA+ is a micropower, beyond the rail, single op-amp in 8 pin NSOIC package. This amplifier provides 90KHz gain bandwidth product and 40V/ms slew rate while using only 10μA of supply current per amplifier. Although the minimum operating voltage is specified at 1.8V, this device typically operates down to 1.5V. The combination of ultra low voltage operation, beyond the rails inputs, rail to rail outputs and ultra low power consumption make it ideal for two cell battery powered system. It has an input common mode range that extends 200mV beyond each rail and output typically swing to within 9mV of rails with 100Kohm load. Beyond the rails input and rail to rail output characteristics allow full power supply voltage to be used for signal range. The combination of low input offset voltage, low input bias current and high open loop gain makes MAX4241 suitable for low power/low voltage precision applications. It is used in digital scales, strain gauges and sensor amplifiers.
