The MAX397EWI+ is a precision dual 8-channel, low voltage, CMOS analogue multiplexer in 28 pin WSOIC package. This device is fabricated with Maxim's low voltage silicon-gate process. The design improvements yield extremely low charge injection and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection greater than 2000V per Method 3015.7. It operates with single supply or dual supplies while retaining CMOS logic input compatibility and fast switching. Device is pin compatible with the industry standard MAX306/MAX307, DG406/DG407 and DG506A/DG507A. It is used in sample and hold circuits, avionics and low voltage data acquisition systems and automatic test equipment.
