The MAX2681EUT+T is a 400MHz to 2.5GHz, low noise, SiGe (silicon-germanium) downconverter mixer in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This miniature, low cost double balanced downconverter mixer is designed for low voltage operation. Signals at RF input port are mixed with signals at local oscillator (LO) port using double balanced mixer. It operates with RF input frequencies from 400MHz to 2500MHz and downconvert to IF output frequencies between 10MHz and 500MHz. The MAX2681 operates from single 2.7V to 5.5V supply which allows the device to be powered directly from 3-cell NiCd or 1-cell lithium battery. The device offers a wide range of supply currents and input intercept (IIP3) levels to optimize system performance. The MAX2681 is manufactured on a high frequency, low noise, advanced silicon-germanium process. It is used in 400MHz/900MHz/2.4GHz ISM band radios, personal communications systems (PCS), wireless local loops and IEEE-802.11 applications.
