The MAX14527ETA+T is an adjustable overvoltage protector with high accuracy in 8 pin TDFN package. This overvoltage protection device has low 100mohm RON internal FET and protects low voltage systems against voltage faults up to 28V. The internal FET is turned off to prevent damage to protected components when the input voltage exceeds overvoltage threshold. The overvoltage protection threshold can be adjusted with optional external resistors to any voltage between 4V and 8V. The MAX14527 automatically chooses internal ±2.5% accurate trip thresholds with OVLO input set below external OVLO select voltage. The internal overvoltage thresholds (OVLO) are preset to 5.75V. The device is protected against overcurrent events with an internal thermal shutdown.
