The MAX1281BEUP+ is a 300Ksps, low power, 8-channel, serial 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) with internal reference in 20 pin TSSOP package. This single supply ADC use a successive approximation conversion technique and input track/hold (T/H) circuitry to convert an analogue signal to a 12bit digital output. A flexible serial interface provides easy interface to microprocessors. It uses an external serial interface clock to perform successive approximation A/D conversions. It has an internal +2.5V reference and reference buffer amplifier with ±1.5% voltage adjustment range. It provides a hard-wired SHDN (complementary) pin and four software-selectable power modes (normal operation, reduced power, fast power-down and full power-down). It is used in data acquisition, process control and pen digitizers.
Supply voltage range is 2.7V to 3.6V
Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
8-channel single-ended or 4-channel pseudo-differential inputs
