The MAX1257BETM+ is a 12bit, multichannel ADCs/DACs with FIFO, temperature sensing and GPIO ports in 48 pin TQFN package. The highly integrated system monitoring and control solution which includes a 16-channel 12bit ADC, a 8-channel 12bit DAC, an internal reference, an internal temp sensor, a 12bit GPIO port and a 25MHz SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial interface. The octal DAC outputs settle within 2.0μs and ADC has a 225Ksps conversion rate. It includes an internal reference 2.5V providing a well-regulated, low-noise reference for both ADC and DAC. Programmable reference modes for the ADC and DAC allow use of an internal reference, an external reference or a combination of both. It features internal ±1°C accurate temperature sensor, FIFO, scan modes, programmable internal or external clock modes, data averaging and AutoShutdown. The low glitch energy and low digital feed through of integrated DACs make this device ideal for digital control of fast response closed-loop systems.
