The MAX1192ETI+ is an ultra-low power, dual 8bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 28 pin TQFN package. It includes two fully differential wideband track and hold inputs. These inputs have 440MHz bandwidth and accept fully differential or single ended signals. The MAX1192 has sampling rate of 22Msps while consuming only 27.3mW. This ADC operates from 2.7V to 3.6V analogue power supply. A separate 1.8V to 3.6V supply powers digital output driver. In addition to ultra low operating power, the MAX1192 has three power-down modes to conserve power during idle periods. It has excellent dynamic performance, ultra-low power and small size. An internal 1.024V precision bandgap reference sets full scale range of ADC to ±0.512V. The MAX1192 has parallel, multiplexed, CMOS compatible tri-state outputs. The digital output format is offset binary. It is used in IQ baseband sampling, battery powered instruments, WLAN, mobile DSL, WLL receiver.
