The MAX1165BCUI+ is a low power, 16bit analogue to digital converter with parallel interface in 28 pin TSSOP package. It is a 16bit, low power, successive approximation ADC feature automatic power-down, factory-trimmed internal clock and a 16bit wide (MAX1165) parallel interface. It use an internal reference or an external reference. The device consumes only 1.8mA at a sampling rate of 165Ksps with external reference and 2.7mA with internal reference. AutoShutdown reduces supply current to 0.1mA at 10Ksps. The device is ideal for high-performance, battery-powered, data-acquisition applications. Excellent dynamic performance and low power consumption in a small package make the device ideal for circuits with demanding power consumption and space requirements. Typical applications include temperature sensor/monitor, industrial process control, I/O boards, data-acquisition systems, cable/harness tester, accelerometer measurements and digital signal processing.
