The MAX11647EUA+ is a low power, 1-channel/2-channel, 10bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 8 pin μMAX package. It has internal track/hold (T/H), voltage reference, clock and an I2C compatible 2-wire serial interface (400KHz fast mode and 1.7MHz high speed mode). The device operates from single supply of 2.7V to 3.6V. AutoShutdown powers down the devices between conversions and reduces supply current to less than 1μA at lower throughput rates. It measures two single ended or one differential input. The fully differential analogue inputs are software configurable for unipolar or bipolar and single ended or differential operation. The full scale analogue input range is determined by internal reference or by an externally applied reference voltage ranging from 1V to VDD. The MAX11647 has 2.048V internal reference. It is used in battery powered test equipment, power supply monitoring, solar powered remote systems, received signal strength indicators and system supervision.
