The MAX11167ETC+T is a 16bit, ±5V SAR analogue to digital converter (ADC) with internal reference in 12 pin TDFN package. It offers excellent AC and DC performance with true bipolar input range, small size and internal reference. The MAX11167 measures ±5V (10VP-P) input range while operating from single 5V supply. Charge pump architecture allows direct sampling of high impedance sources. The device integrates an optional 6.7ppm/°C reference with internal buffer which saves cost and space of an external reference. It achieves 93.2dB SNR, -102.5dB THD, ±0.4LSB INL, ±0.2LSB DNL and provides 16bit with no missing codes. It communicates using SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP compatible serial interface at 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V or 5V logic. The serial interface can be used to daisy chain multiple ADCs in parallel for multichannel applications and provides busy indicator option for simplified system synchronization and timing. The device is used in automatic test equipment & data acquisition systems.
