The DS1830AS+ is a 3.3V reset sequence pushbutton device in 8 pin NSOIC package. This reset sequencer monitors power supply for an in-tolerance condition and pushbutton reset input for manual reset. First a precision temperature compensated reference and comparator circuit monitors the status of power supply and when an out of tolerance condition is detected, an internal power fail signal is generated that forces reset lines to go to an active state. If power supply returns to an in-tolerance condition, active-low RST1 will release followed by active-low RST2 and active-low RST3. Sequencing of resets allow for systems to power-up in an orderly manner providing superior reliability. The DS1830 provides functions of detecting out of tolerance conditions on a power supply and warning a processor based system of impending power failure. It is used in ATE, automatic utility meter reading, cable modems, cell phone base station end equipment, GPS and modems (analogue, ISDN, DSL).
- Supply voltage range from 1V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Operating current (standby) of 10μA and RESET active time of 75ms (active-low RST1 /TD = VCC)
- Excellent for systems that need power-on resets in consistent sequence
- Asserts resets during power transients
- Pushbutton reset input for system override and selectable reset timing
- VCC trip point of 3.06V (TOL= VCC), 2.88V (TOL = GND) and 2.55V (TOL = open)
- Reduces need for discrete components
- Precision temperature compensated voltage reference
- Open-drain, active-low input
