The DS1819AR-10+T&R is a 3.3V MicroMonitor in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This device monitors three vital conditions for microprocessor such as power supply, software execution and external override. A precision temperature compensated reference and comparator circuit monitors the status of VCC. When an out of tolerance condition occurs, an internal power fail signal forces reset to active state. The reset signal is kept in active state for a minimum of 140ms to allow power supply and processor to stabilize when VCC returns to an in tolerance condition. The DS1819A performs watchdog function. The watchdog is an internal timer that forces the reset signals to the active state if strobe input does not change state every 1.12 seconds. This function can be disabled by leaving watchdog strobe input disconnected. It also performs pushbutton reset control. It debounces pushbutton input and generates an active reset pulse width of 140ms minimum.
