The LTC4367IDD#PBF is an overvoltage, undervoltage and reverse supply protection controller in 8 pin DFN package. This device protects applications where power supply input voltage is too high, too low or even negative. The LTC4367 performs this function by controlling gate voltages of a pair of external N channel MOSFETs to ensure that output stays within safe operating range. Two comparator inputs allow configuration of overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) set points using an external resistive divider. A shutdown pin provides external control for enabling and disabling MOSFETs as well as placing the device in low current shutdown state. A fault output indicates that GATE pin is pulling low when LTC4367 is in shutdown or input voltage is outside of UV and OV set points. The device has 32ms turn-on delay that debounces live connections and blocks 50Hz to 60Hz AC power.
