The LTC3624HMSE-3.3#PBF is a fixed output synchronous step down regulator in 12 pin MSOP package. This monolithic regulator has ultralow quiescent current and high efficiency over a wide output voltage range. User selectable mode input is provided to allow user to trade off ripple noise for light load efficiency. Burst mode operation provides highest efficiency at light loads while pulse skipping mode provides lowest voltage ripple. Current mode operation provides excellent line and load transient response. The MODE pin can also be used to sync the switching frequency to an external clock. To suit a variety of applications, the selectable MODE/SYNC pin allows user to trade off output ripple for efficiency.
