DC919A-I is a demonstration circuit for LTC2205-14 ADC with sample rate of 65Msps. It is a 14bit A/D converter designed for digitizing high frequency. The input range of the ADC can be optimized with the PGA front end. It is perfect for demanding communications applications, with AC performance that includes 78.3dB SNR and 98dB spurious free dynamic range. Ultralow jitter of 90fsRMS allows undersampling of high input frequencies with excellent noise performance. A separate output power supply allows the CMOS output swing to range from 0.5V to 3.6V. The encoder clock inputs may be driven differentially or single ended with a sine wave, PECL, TTL or CMOS inputs. An optional clock duty cycle stabilizer allows high performance at full speed with a wide range of clock duty cycles. The circuitry on the analog inputs is optimized for analog input frequencies from DC to 70MHz. The DC718 is used to acquire data from the DC919A which is controlled by PScope system software.
