The RP34L-5R-3PD(71) is a 3-position male low profile Rectangular Receptacle with palladium-plated brass contacts and a black PPS insulator. The RP34L series connector has solder-plated phosphor bronze metal components, through hole mounting style, right angle connector orientation, soldering wire termination method and snap-in lock locking style. Receptacles are designed with their installation heights to be shorter than those of conventional RP34 series. Both 2 and 3 position receptacles are miniaturized to 7mm length, resulting in a small board mounting area. Snap-lock mechanism, audible click when connector is fully mated. Precise mated connection, secure hold of the plug on au 3 axis. The 3 contact type has sequenced mating. One pin makes contact as a ground terminal before the other contacts. Two polarized keys prevent any insertion error. An arrow on the top of the plug shows the proper direction for insertion.
