The UMFT220XB-NC is an USB to 4bit SPI/FT1248 module based on FT220XQ USB 2.0 full speed IC. This FT220XQ offers a compact bridge to 4bit SPI/FT1248 interfaces. The device is a FT1248 slave, capable of operating up to 500KBit/s, with low power consumption (8mA). The FT220XQ includes the complete FT-X series feature set and enables USB to be added into a system design quickly and easily over an FT1248 interface. The UMFT220XB-01 module is a low cost breakout board form factor that converts USB 2.0 full speed to a serial interface and connects the serial signals to a 2.54mm (0.1inch) pitch 10 pin female receptacle. The board do not use a USB connector, but instead the modules plug directly into the USB host connector and the pads of the PCB makes electrical contact with the electrical contacts of the USB connector. All serial interfaces on this module operate at +3.3V voltage levels, however all I/Os are 5V tolerant.
