The FT311D-32L1C-R is an USB Android Host IC, provides a bridge between peripheral hardware and an Android platform with a USB device port. The IC will enumerate the Android platform and provide an interface to either, GPIO, UART, PWM, I2C master, SPI slave or SPI master. The FTDIs Android Accessory Mode integrated circuit device or Android Host. The USB Android host IC behaves like a bridge between an Android device and the various I/O available. Selection of various modes is performed using CNFGx pins.
