The I93/28/16-3C95 is a Transformer Core made with the material grade of 3C95. I core is often used in combination with U-core to build a simple transformer or inductor. This combination is suitable for easy to wind inductors in applications such as interference filters and output chokes. As with rods, the magnetic circuit is open which an advantage is when the currents have a high DC content.
