The DS-GPM. S is a 99 channel global positioning system (GPS) and GLONASS shield with internal antenna for Arduino Arduino and Raspberry-Pi. This module is a highly integrated global positioning system allowing robotic application to determine its location on the earth's surface. Specifically targeted at the Arduino UNO board user [MEGA and NANO boards also supported] the DS-GPM. S features I2C communication to leave the serial [TX/RX] port free for other functions. GPS/GLONASS data received by the GPS shield is stored within internal registers which are updated once per second and include latitude (vertical), longitude (horizontal), altitude (metres), time and date (UTC), heading (true and magnetic), speed (kilometres per hour) and satellites detected information. In addition the DS-GPM. S features an on board fully configurable four line programmable I/O and analogue input port with automatic measurement.
