The HEDR-5420-ES214 is a 2-channel mid-sized Incremental Housing Encoder. It emphasize high reliability, high resolution and easy assembly. HEDR-5420-ES214 housed encoder use reflective technology to sense rotary position. This sensor consists of an LED light source and a photo detector IC in a single SO-8 surface mount package. The outputs of encoder are two square waves in quadrature. These encoders may be quickly and easily mounted to a motor.
