The ATTINY13-20PU is a 8-bit high-performance low-power AVR RISC-based Microcontroller combines 1kB ISP flash memory, 64B SRAM, 64B EEPROM, a 32B register file and a 4-channel 10-bit A/D converter. The device supports a throughput of 20 MIPS at 20MHz and operates between 2.7 to 5.5V. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz, balancing power consumption and processing speed. The AVR core combines a rich instruction set with 32 general purpose working registers. All 32 registers are directly connected to the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU), allowing two independent registers to be accessed in one single instruction executed in one clock cycle. The resulting architecture is more code efficient while achieving throughputs up to ten times faster than conventional CISC microcontrollers.
