The ATSAMD20E17A-AU is a low-power high-performance SMART ARM? Cortex?-M0+ based Flash Microcontroller with 128kB of flash and 16kB of SRAM memory. Four serial communication modules (SERCOM) configurable as UART/USART, SPI or I2C, six 16-bit timer/counters, 32-bit real time clock and calendar, 10 PWM channels, one 10-channel 12-bit ADC, one 10-bit DAC. Atmel's SAM D20 microcontrollers are ideally suited for use in mobile devices due to their low current consumption. Sensor fusion processing is a key area where these devices can be used to differentiate products and with Atmel's extensive range of sensor partners it is easy to add real-time motion processing to enrich the user experience.
