The EVAL-CN0319-EB1Z is a circuit evaluation board which provides a complete loop powered thermocouple temperature measurement system. 4mA to 20mA output current is controlled using the PWM function of a precision analog microcontroller. The circuit utilizes ADuCM360 and ADuCM361 precision analog microcontrollers with dual sigma delta ADCs, ADP1720 50mA high voltage micropower linear regulator, OP193 precision micropower single operational amplifier and ADR3412 micro power high accuracy 1.2V voltage reference devices. This circuit provides a low cost solution to temperature monitoring because most of the circuit functionality is integrated into the ADuCM360 precision analog microcontroller including dual 24bit sigma delta ADCs, the ARM Cortex-M3 processor core and the PWM/DAC features for controlling the 4mA to 20mA loop for loop voltages up to 28V.
