The EVAL-AD7176-2SDZ is an evaluation kit designed to allow the user to evaluate the features of the AD7176-2 ADC. The AD7176-2 is a fast settling, highly accurate, high resolution, multiplexed, 24bit, sigma delta ADC for low bandwidth input signals with a fully flexible ODR between 5SPS and 250KSPS. A 7V to 9V external bench top supply is regulated to 5V and 3.3V to supply AD7176-2 and support all necessary components. The EVAL-AD7176-2SDZ board connects to the USB port of the PC by connection to the EVAL-SDP-CB1Z motherboard. This board operates in stand alone mode or in conjunction with the system development platform EVAL-SDP-CB1Z . When operated with the SDP software is provided enabling the user to perform detailed analysis of the ADC's performance. The evaluation board software fully configures the AD7176-2 device register functionality and provides DC time domain analysis in the form of waveform graphs, histograms and associated noise analysis for ADC performance evaluation.
